Teresa Funke is the award-winning author of seven books about World War II. Her popular middle-grade series The Home-Front Heroes includes The No-No Boys and V for Victory. She has been writing and publishing for 30 years and loves helping young writers realize that every child has a voice, a story, and the power to change the world!
Programs
K-3 Programs by Natasha Wing
Two 45-minute shows on the behind-the-scenes of what it’s like to be a children’s book author. Includes writing process, book-making steps, where ideas come from, Q&A, and a reading.
4-8 Programs by Teresa Funke
Two one-hour presentations geared for each grade focus on listening skills, idea generation, voice, sensory words, concrete details, and revision. Teresa will inspire your students to see how writing will help them achieve their future goals.
One-on-one Time With the Authors!
In addition to their programs, Teresa and Natasha offer one-on-one conversation time with teachers, gifted students interested in writing, or students who need extra inspiration to read and write.

Out-of-State or Out-of-Area Schools:
$2,000 (some travel expenses may apply)
